PA FOP Lodge 29 Williamsport, PA

History

Chartered on July 7, 1988, in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, PA XIV started with 16 regular members, half from the Williamsport Bureau of Police, five from surrounding agencies and three from the Wellsboro/Mansfield area to our north. Dave Ritter secured the charter, served several terms as our first chapter president and is one of only six members to maintain current membership status.

Our annual “Canyon Country Tour”, a group-ride through the beautiful countryside surrounding Williamsport, is held in June. Motorcyclists who pre-register receive a complimentary t-shirt, in addition to coffee and donuts, the group ride, a meal and a chance on one of many door prizes enjoyed by all participants. Proceeds from this event have been donated to “Making Dreams Come True”, a local charity that grants wishes to children with special needs or illnesses.
