Consideration for Associate Membership is dependant upon the following:
* Applicant cannot have been convicted of a felony, or of any offense that carries a minimum prison sentence of one (1) year or a fine of $10,000;

* Applicant cannot be convicted of any fraudulent crimes (i.e. forgery, theft, theft by deception, etc.);

* Applicant’s contact with law enforcement must be of a nature that does not bring discredit or negative scrutiny to the applicant or the Fraternal Order of Police;

* And, Williamsport (PA) FOP Lodge #29 reserves the right to refuse or terminate membership at any time, in accordance with local Lodge, PA State FOP and Grand National FOP Lodge rules.

** Applicants are subject to a criminal background check .
All associate members of the Williamsport (PA) FOP Lodge #29 are assessed a $30 annual fee. Members receive a membership identification card, window decals, and a one-time FOP Associate Member vehicle emblem. In addition members are invited to various FOP-sponsored functions at no charge. Associates attain lifetime status after twenty (25) years of continued, uninterrupted membership, at which time annual dues are waived.
